
Fuel Pass 2026: Applications Open – Beneficiaries, Amounts and Key Requirements⛽

The Fuel Pass 2026 application platform accepts applications until April 30, 2026. Payments are expected to begin within 48 hours after approval, either through a digital fuel card or via bank transfer to a bank account.
👥 Who are the beneficiaries
Beneficiaries are individuals, including self-employed professionals, provided that they are tax residents of Greece and meet the income criteria, based on the 2024 tax return.
The income limits are as follows:
• €25,000 for a single person
• €35,000 for a married couple or civil partnership
• + €5,000 for each dependent child
• Single-parent family: €39,000, plus €5,000 for each additional dependent child beyond the first
🚗🏍️ Vehicle requirements
The measure applies to one vehicle per individual, and each vehicle can only be declared by one beneficiary.
Eligible vehicles include:
• Passenger cars (private vehicles)
• Motorcycles
• Mopeds
The vehicle must:
✔️ Be in circulation
✔️ Be insured
✔️ Have all road taxes paid
The vehicle must belong to the applicant, either through full ownership or co-ownership, or through a personal leasing agreement (financial lease).
⚠️ Important
Company vehicles provided to employees through corporate leasing are not eligible.
The benefit applies only to personal leasing agreements that are registered in the beneficiary’s own name.
For personal leasing cases, the applicant must provide:
• either the full leasing contract
• or a confirmation document from the leasing company
💶 Amount of the subsidy
The subsidy varies depending on:
• the type of vehicle
• the payment method
• the region of the primary residence
🚗 For cars
📍 Special / island areas
• €60 with digital card
• €50 with bank transfer
📍 Rest of Greece
• €50 with digital card
• €40 with bank transfer
🏍️ For motorcycles or mopeds
📍 Special / island areas
• €35 with digital card
• €30 with bank transfer
📍 Rest of Greece
• €30 with digital card
• €25 with bank transfer
📍 Special areas include
North Aegean, South Aegean, Ionian Islands, Crete, the Regional Unit of the Islands of Attica, Sporades, Thasos, Skyros, Samothrace, and Ammouliani.
📝 What to pay attention to
Choosing the digital fuel card provides a higher subsidy, but it comes with specific usage restrictions.
The bank transfer option provides a slightly lower amount, but offers greater flexibility in how the money can be used.
