The online platform for submitting tax returns is expected to open on March 16, with the number of pre-filled returns for employees and pensioners estimated to exceed 1.5 million. Taxpayers will need to review the pre-filled information and, if any errors or omissions are found, make corrections before submitting their tax return. If the taxpayer does not submit a pre-filled return, the AADE (Independent Authority for Public Revenue) will submit it automatically after Easter.

Tax payment is made in eight monthly instalments, with the first due by the end of July and the last by the end of February 2027. Taxpayers who choose to pay in a lump sum are entitled to a 4% discount for returns submitted by April 30. The discount is reduced to 3% for returns submitted by June 15, and to 2% for taxpayers who choose to submit their return by July 15, 2026.
