
Applications for DYPA's 70,000 children's summer camp vouchers

On Wednesday 20 May, at 14:00, the electronic submission of applications by beneficiaries and providers opened for participation in the "Programme for Children's Stays at Children's Summer Camps for 2026" run by the Public Employment Service — DYPA.
The platform will remain open until Tuesday 26 May, at 23:59.
The programme concerns the provision of 70,000 vouchers for children aged 6 to 16 and will be implemented:
📌 from 15 June to 10 September 2026 for typically developing children
📌 until 20 September 2026 for children with a disability of 50% or more
The total budget of the programme amounts to €37,000,000.
⏳ Duration of stay
The maximum duration of stay is 15 consecutive days, including the days of arrival and departure.
By way of exception, at camps operating:
✅ in the fire-stricken Municipalities of Istiaia – Aidipsos and Mantoudi – Limni – Agia Anna in North Evia
✅ as well as at camps in the Region of Thessaly
the stay may last up to 30 consecutive days.
👨👩👧👦 Who the beneficiaries are
Beneficiaries are the parents or those exercising custody of the children benefiting from the programme, such as foster parents, guardians, etc., who belong to one of the following categories:
🔹 employees under a private-law dependent employment relationship
🔹 persons insured with e-EFKA on the basis of a dependent employment relationship, with contributions to DYPA's unemployment branch, at any point during the 12 months preceding the expiry of the application deadline
🔹 unemployed persons registered in DYPA's Digital Registry of Jobseekers, with a continuous period of unemployment of at least three months as at the expiry date of the application deadline
Income criteria apply to unemployed persons:

📝 How the selection is made
Beneficiaries are selected on a points basis, according to specific social and economic criteria, such as:
✅ disability
✅ single-parent family
✅ number of children
✅ income
✅ first-time participation in the programme, or non-participation in the two previous programmes due to the points system
♿ Special categories
Parents of children with a disability of 50% or more are exempt from the points-based procedure, provided that the places available from providers are sufficient to accommodate all such children.
In addition, for the first time this year, parents of large families are also exempt from the points system and take part in the programme, provided they meet the basic requirements.
⚠️ Who cannot participate
Employed or unemployed persons who receive a subsidy for their children's participation in a summer camp programme from any other body for 2026 cannot take part in the programme.
🎟️ What the voucher covers
Beneficiaries receive a subsidy for their children's stay at a children's summer camp participating in DYPA's Registry of Providers.
The voucher takes the form of a unique electronic code number.
🏕️ Programme providers
Providers may be natural or legal persons, governed by public or private law, who carry out business activity and operate a children's summer camp business in Greece in accordance with the legislation in force.
Providers who participated in last year's programme are automatically included in the Registry of Providers, on condition that they update the necessary participation documents.
📍 Interested parents should submit their application electronically in good time, within the deadline.
