DYPA News – Seasonal Assistance & Grant €17,500

We inform you about two important actions of DYPA concerning employees and the unemployed:

🔹Special Seasonal Aid 2025

• Applications open: September 10, 2025
  
• Term: Up to November 30, 2025, 2:00 PM
• Beneficiaries: Workers in construction, tourism-food services, port workers, foresters, tobacco workers, musicians and theater technicians, as well as other seasonal specialties.
• Aid amount: It ranges from €609.75 to €1,219.50 , depending on the industry.
• Why do it: It ensures significant financial support in periods when work is reduced due to seasonality.

🔍 2. Grant Program ~ €17,500 for Youth Entrepreneurship — Details

What is it / why:

• New DYPA program, aiming to support young unemployed people to create their own business.

• The idea is to provide an economic "incentive" so that entrepreneurship is sustainable, young unemployed people can become active, ideas can be developed and employment can be created through new businesses.

Who is eligible:

• Registered with the DYPA.

• Unemployed until 29 years old .

• It is expected that emphasis will be placed on women, vulnerable population groups, and areas that have fewer development opportunities.
  

When does it start:
So far, there is no public information about the specific start date of the program, information says that it is expected to open next fall.

What will be the amount / what is being financed:

• Subsidy €17,500 for each eligible beneficiary.

• The total budget of the program is 37 million euros.
