DYPA Social Tourism 2026–2027: Applications Have Opened 🏖️

The application process has begun for the “DYPA Social Tourism 2026–2027” program, offering 300,000 vouchers for subsidized holidays on islands and in destinations across Greece.

Applications are being submitted gradually, based on the last digit of the beneficiary’s Tax Identification Number (AFM).

Application schedule 📝
• AFM ending in 0: Tuesday, 21/4
• AFM ending in 1 or 2: Wednesday, 22/4
• AFM ending in 3 or 4: Thursday, 23/4
• AFM ending in 5 or 6: Friday, 24/4
• AFM ending in 7, 8 or 9: Saturday, 25/4

Important ⚠️
On Sunday, 26/4, all interested applicants may submit an application, regardless of the last digit of their AFM.

Program start date and duration 📅
This year’s program starts earlier than ever before, on 18 May 2026, and will last for 13 months. It covers:
• summer 2026
• Christmas 2026
• Easter 2027

Who is eligible 👥
• Employees working under a private-law dependent employment relationship
• Persons insured with e-EFKA due to dependent employment, with contributions paid to DYPA’s unemployment branch at any time during the 12 months before the application deadline
• Unemployed persons registered in the Digital Register, with at least 3 consecutive months of unemployment by the application deadline

Income criteria 💶
• Up to €16,000 for single individuals
• Up to €24,000 for married applicants, plus €5,000 for each child
• Up to €29,000 for single-parent families, plus €5,000 for each child after the first

What the voucher covers 🏨
Each voucher is a unique number assigned to each beneficiary and may be used for up to 6 overnight stays at accommodations listed in DYPA’s “Providers Register”, with a small private contribution.

Areas with free holidays 🌊
For certain areas, there is no private contribution, and beneficiaries are entitled to more overnight stays.

Up to 10 free overnight stays apply for:
• Leros
• Lesvos
• Chios
• Kos
• Samos
• Rhodes

Up to 12 free overnight stays apply for:
• Evros
• Northern Evia
• Thessaly (excluding the Sporades)

Higher subsidy during specific periods 📈
Subsidy rates are increased by 20% for holidays taking place:
• in August
• from 15 December 2026 to 14 January 2027
• from 23 April 2027 to 9 May 2027

The increased subsidy applies throughout the entire year for accommodations located in:
• Northern Evia
• Evros
• Thessaly (excluding the Sporades)

What applies to ferry tickets ⛴️
In addition to accommodation, ferry tickets are also subsidized.
• Beneficiaries pay 25% of the cost
• For Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), ferry tickets are free of charge
